Great location! Check-in was great and hosts very responsive. Property in need of updating and upgrading in some areas. Had character😉

Clean, but serious concerns regarding security and upkeep Positive: Cleanliness: The apartment was impeccably clean throughout our stay—credit to the host for keeping it spotless. Negative: Safety & Security: The apartment is built with low-grade materials and feels very insecure. Both the main front door and the balcony door are made of thin, damaged wood. The gaps around the front door are so wide that you can see right out into the hallway. Combined with flimsy sliding windows and individuals idling around the sketchy neighborhood, we felt quite uncomfortable. Noise Isolation: Due to the extremely thin windows and doors, street noise comes through loudly. You can hear entire conversations from the street below as if you were right next to them. Severe Wear & Tear: The unit is heavily worn down. The flooring near the windows is worn through to the point where the insulation layer is visible, and the bathroom door panel was coming apart at the edges, making it difficult to close properly.

Très bon compromis pour Montréal :) Positive: La gentillesse et la réactivité des propriétaires. Ils ont été au top et à l’écoute de nos demandes. Nous l’avons également constaté avec les voisins d’à côté lorsqu’ils avaient besoin d’aide. Localisation très pratique avec une station de métro à 200m. Mais pratiquement tout est accessible à pieds (vieux Montréal d’un côté, Mont Royal de l’autre) pour ceux qui aiment marcher. Negative: Quelques surprises à l’arrivée… La taille de la chambre ne correspondait pas tout à fait (cela a sans doute été corrigé depuis dans la description) et globalement, équipements plutôt vétustes par rapport aux attentes. C’est un 1er étage dans une tour d’une vingtaine d’étages. Autant le savoir. L’avantage, c’est qu’il ne faut pas prendre les ascenseurs, qui inspirent une confiance limitée. ;-)

Good location, and great hosts, small apartment which is a little rundown in places, but very clean and has all the essentials.

It’s a lovely space, walking distance to Old Montreal and Places Des-Arts. Everything went really smoothly. Thanks!
